Animals at Koala Creek

 ECHIDNA

 

 

 

An echidna. He was busy digging into the roots of this tree when we found him. As soon as he realised he was there, he curled up into a prickly ball. It was dark and difficult to photgraph him.
We always know when an Echidna has been around because we find his scratchings and diggings.

POSSUM

  Possoms are always around. It is strange, they always climb down the same tree to browse in the bird feeding patch. Sometimes I leave a carrot out for them.
