Here you will find others with an interest in various aspects of ASD. The aim of the group is mutual support and information sharing. Look at the Member List and add your own Member Profile. Click on the links in the left margin. Make sure you have added yourself to the email list for this site to stay informed.
You can read messages from others or post messages yourself. Suggest a topic or follow a discussion on a topic of interest to you.
Sign up for the email discussion list to keep in touch with the ASD online community. You will receive daily or weekly email from the list and can contribute or just 'listen in' to others discussions on various topics. Click on the "Message Board" link in the left margin.
You can see photos of members and post a photo of yourself for others to see as they look through our Members Photo Album. Click on the link in the left margin to access the photos.
You can view a calendar of events to see what is on concerning ASD. Check out the latest meetings and activities on the Calendar in the left margin. Organisations may add their own events to the Calendar for all to access.
You can chat online to others with ASD or with interested educators, families or friends.
Below is a list of land based (offline) ASD support groups
- ASSN Bayside (Asperger's Syndrome Support Network) meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7.30 pm.
Our new venue is the Hall at Capalaba Place, a council-owned building behind Capalaba Central Shopping Centre, Capalaba, It is next to the library and behind the Customer Service Centre. Look for the back entrance.
It is on Noeleen Street which is off Dollery Road. You can enter Dollery Road from either Old Cleveland Road or from Redland Bay Road.
